A Prayer For Our Pastors

Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray and confess
that the Spirit of the Lord is upon my pastors.

I pray, Lord that you would give my pastors courage to preach and teach
the truth without fear of man.

I Pray Lord, that You continue to anoint them and qualify them to
preach the good news to the meek, poor, wealthy, and afflicted.
Send them, Lord to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to
the physically and spiritually captive, to open the eyes of those who are
blinded and to carry out all the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ
according to Isaiah 61:1-2

I pray and agree with my pastors that no weapon formed against them
and their families will prosper, and every tongue that rises against
them in judgment shall be shown to be in the wrong
according to Isaiah 54:17

I ask you, Lord, to give my pastors encouragement and strength,
to help them stay at the heights of integrity and faithfulness, and to
keep preaching the uncompromised Word of God.

Please help them, Lord, to hold fast to the form of sound words and
be able to commit their leadership principles and truths to other
faithful men and women.

I ask you, Lord, to bless my pastors and their family with rest and peace,
health, and prosperity. Guard them, Lord, with safety in all they do.

I know they are anointed to be my pastors; therefore
I put myself in agreement with them and submit to their leadership
in the Lord according to Jeremiah 3:15 and Jeremiah 23:3-4.

I pray for my pastors that the doors of utterance will be opened
so that they may proclaim Christ clearly in all places
you cause their feet to tread according to Colossians 4:2-3
